New Comics coming in April 2025
Share
This April doesn't just bring us April Showers, it's also bringing us a whole host of new comics, and Earth 519's first comic show EVER!
Saturday April 5th Earth 519 will be at the Stratford Comicon from 10am to 3pm, drop by our booth, check out our awesome stuff, and grab a sticker from us while you're there!
DC Comics isn't just home to the Absolute Universe, which now includes six amazing titles (Absolute Batman, Absolute Flash, Absolute Martian Manhunter, Absolute Superman and Absolute Wonder Woman), it's also going to be all over the entertainment landscape this year as Superman makes his big screen return. Look for the Summer of Superman to be everywhere this year.
In addition to the Absolute Universe, be on the lookout for Absolute Green Lantern when the latest Absolute title makes its debut, Resurrection Man makes his return - both dropping April 2nd.
Fire and Ice When Hell Freezes Over deals with the fallout from Absolute Power (powers flipped?!?), while the Summer of Superman begins April 16th.
Our friends at DSTLRY have a big month with three weeks of back to back number ones. Endeavor from Stephanie Phillips, A Mischief Of Magpies from Simon Spurrier, and Knife from Miles Gunter.
Image Comics are making sure that they shower us with comics this month, with Spawn Black Ritual The Book Of NYX #1 and Medieval Spawn #1, my personal guilty pleasure Youngblood Deluxe #1, and a bunch of GI Joe One-Shots. G.I. Joe Arah Roadblock, G.I. Joe A Real American Hero Spirit #1, and G.I. Joe A Real American Hero Jinx #1.
Marvel Comics starts the month with Dance, and ends the month with Destruction! Up first is Concert of Champions #1, then Amazing Spider-Man launches a brand new #1! Daredevil Cold Day in Hell #1 features a story from Robert Soule and art by Canadian superstar Steve McNiven. Video game fans rejoice when Marvel Rivals #1 mashes the release window, then get ready for Godzilla vs Hulk, Godzilla vs Spider-Man, and finally Godzilla vs Los Angeles? Won't someone leave poor LA alone?
Of course this is only the tip of the iceberg! There's so much more great stuff coming out in April as we head into the warmer summer months. We want to hear what YOU are looking forward to, what should we be reading, and what is the next big thing?
