As we enter August and the summer hits its apex, the comics world is looking ahead to October!

DC starts their next event with DC K.O. where heroes and villains fight in a massive battle royale. Marvel unleashes X-Men Revelation across 18 different titles, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles get a new Nickleodeon inspired series, and so much more.

How much more is going on in October? DC's Absolute Evil celebrates the one year anniversary of the Absolute DC Universe! Spawn the Dark Ages kicks off another Spawn series, while Robert Kirkman takes over Transformers with issue #25. Still in the Energon Universe, G.I. Joe jumps in the mosh pit with Cold Slither, Ice Cream Man tries something crazy and new with a comic told as a deck of cards?
